 We offer travel teams to players ages 8u – college level and are always looking to add qualified members to our professional staff.  Teams in our younger age groups may have parents on staff to help keep cost down and chemistry if joining us from an “in house” or “town” team.

1. As a coach you get your own key and passcode to the NY Nationals Sports Academy and access to our practice fields.  Coaches who are CPR/First Aid/AED Certified and have completed our NYN Coaches Training Program will be given their own key and security code to our Academy as well as access to practice on our beautiful practice fields.  This allows our coaches to practice as much as they want, on the schedule that works best for their team.  Without having to worry about if we’re open or if someone will be there, rain or shine our teams can get their work in.

2.  We help you recruit players & hold tryouts.  Every town team turned travel team will eventually run into the same problem.  Empty roster spots.  It can be very hard to fill those spots with solid players if you’re only looking within your own town or area.   It’s also very hard to attract good players with all the competition in travel ball today.  With a brand like the Nationals behind you, and a network of over 200 players and 40 coaches, we can help you fill those empty roster spots in no time.  We also have years of experience hosting tryouts and know how to promote them and run them so players come down, parents like what they see and everyone wants to sign up.

   3.  We hold coaches meetings, provide free training and offer management systems to help you out.  Besides the hard systems such as the fields and academy we also offer our coaches soft systems like “Coaches Manuals”, “10 Week Winter Workout Programs”, “Off Season / In Season Strength and Conditioning Programs”, “Online Video Database” and so much more.  We make sure our coaches have access to the most up to date training methods and coaching systems on the market today.

4.  We handle the administrative work, you just go out there and coach.  No more worrying about collecting payments.  No more ordering uniforms.  No more having to worry about booking leagues & tournaments, ordering baseballs or paying umpire fees.  Pretty much everything coaches hate to do we will handle for you.  This frees you up to focus on the things that matter most like teaching your players and winning ball games.

5.  We have a great community that you and your team will enjoy being a part of.  From our “Summer Kick Off BBQ” to our “Players Awards Brunch” our season is filled with fun events for the entire organization that helps raise money for our teams as well as local charities and families in need.  We also attend events like the “Jones Beach Breast Cancer Awareness Walk” and host the annual “St. Jude Children’s Hospital Fairytale Fundraiser” out of our academy.  Our players learn more than just baseball or softball they learn about life.
